Facing together

This September DakshinaChitra Museum is collaborating with PARI (People’s Archive of Rural India, FICA (Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art) and Forest Way for an exhibition titled  ‘Bhin bhini, Changing Climate, Uncertain Livelihoods’. The exhibition is curated by Krishnapriya C P. Bhin bhini, meaning numerous is a new name given to the aggressive hybrid pests that ravage crops. Climate crisis has numerous registers and these are at present strongly being experienced by humans and the nonhumans, across the globe. In Bhin bhini, the exhibition we attempt to bring together multiple testimonies and expressions to initiate conversations of co-inhabitation.
